Girmitiyas (indenture labour) starts during British rule in india. For cheap labour this act was done and it was a kind of slavery which was imposed on Indian people in early nineteenth century. This channel is dedicated to memory of all Girmitiyas (Indian indenture labour) and their descendants who are spread all over the world. This channel is salute for memory of those Girmitiyas who worked hard during the times of slavery and somehow manage to survive thousands kilometres away from their motherland. In this channel, the story of the life journey, struggle and achievements of the Girmitiyas ( Indian indentured labour) and their descendants along with the social and political life will be given and people who want to know about the place of origin of their ancestors will be helped in finding it.
